Everything in one window
The Baronet opens ready to play: you have White, the computer has Black, and you simply move a piece. Beside the board are the two clocks, the move list and a graph that follows the evaluation through the whole game, so you can see at a glance where the game turned.
Choose who plays each side, play a friend on the same board, or let the computer play itself and watch. Change the strength, the clock, the board or the pieces from the Options menu at any time.

Review every game you play
When a game ends, one click on Analyse this game goes through every move. Each one gets a class - Best, Excellent, Good, Inaccuracy, Mistake, Blunder, and the rare Great and Brilliant moves - and a short comment saying what it did and what would have been better.
The review works on any game, not only the ones played here: open a PGN or FEN file, or paste a game with Ctrl+V.
Why The Baronet?
Most chess software today asks for an account, keeps your games on someone else's server and saves its best features for a subscription. The Baronet does none of that. It is a program in the old sense: you download it once, it runs on your own machine, and everything it can do is available to you from the first launch.
